¾ To change the resolution on Solaris 8 for 32 and 64 bit
cards:
1. Runthefollowingcommand:
# /usr/sbin/fbconfig –res1024x768x75
where1024x768x75isanyresolutionthattheKXII‐101supports.
2. Restartcomputer.
Mouse Modes
TheKXII‐101operatesinseveralmousemodes:AbsoluteMouse
Synchronization™,IntelligentMouseMode(donotuseananimated
mouse),andStandardMouseMode.Mouseparametersdonothaveto
bealteredforAbsoluteMouseSynchronization.ForboththeStandard
andIntelligentmousemodes,mouseparametersmustbesettospecif
ic
values,whicharedescribedinthefollowingparagraphsinthissection.
Thissectiondescribesthemouseconfigurationsnecessaryfordifferent
systems.
Windows Vista
¾ To configure the mouse:
1. ChooseStart>Settings>ControlPanel>Mouse.
2. ClickthePointerOptionstab.IntheMotiongroup:
a. Setthemousemotionspeedsettingexactlytothemiddlespeed.
b. DeselecttheEnhancedpointerprecisionoption.
3. ClickOK.
¾ To disable animation and fade effects:
1. FromtheWindowsStartmenu,choo
seControlPanel>System>
Advancedsystemsettings.TheSystemPropertiesdialogopens.
2. ClicktheAdvancedtab.
3. SelecttheSettingsbuttoninthePerformancegroup.The
PerformanceOptionsdialogopens.
4. UnderCustomoptions,deselectthefollowingcheckboxes:
